A Pink Set.

You might have seen this fabric combination in a previous post.

This is the Marlborough Bra by Orange Lingerie.
I've made this bra numerous times and I've tweaked the pattern a few times and now have a perfect fit. I absolutely love this bra and I get amazing "lift"!

I ordered this embroidered tulle from my supplier. I got a ton of it! What was I thinking?
After a search through my stash I came up with the makings of a new bra.

I found a lovely peach eyelet that I had purchased last year, not knowing at the time what I would make with it. I guess it just needed to age in my stash for a while.
I didn't have any pink or peach findings, so I used tan , ecru and white. I ended up not using the pink bra hooks as I didn't like them, so I used white instead.

I won't model this bra for you as it is very sheer and see through. I'm also shy. LOL
But here it is in all it's spendor.

The strap elastic is some that I got on sale at my local fabric store. It is very pretty but also very stiff and I am not crazy about the comfort of it while wearing the bra...I won't purchase this elastic again.

I also made a matching pyjama set using the same fabrics.

I lined the bridge of the bra with pink duoplex, a layer of the pink tulle from the lace and some of the embroidery from the lace for the front of the bridge.

I decided this bra didn't need a bow as the bridge turned out so pretty.

The cups and frame are lined with peach bra tulle and I enclosed all the seams to prevent fraying.

 I used ecru channeling, tan and white elastics and white hooks & eyes.

The back band is pink Power Net from BraMaker's supply.
